With MDS New England's eLink solutions, you can easily create and deliver custom documents to almost any business in the world, without the expense and delays of postal mail. Instead of printing reports or confirmations, stuffing them into envelopes, mailing them, and waiting, you can generate documents electronically and deliver them in minutes, at a lower cost.

How eLink Works

The eLink process is simple. We can help you transform an idea into a document delivery process. We do all the work. No additional hardware or software is needed on your end.

With eLink your forms are stored on the eLink server. You transmit a batch file containing the raw data to one of the secure eLink gateways. The eLink server merges this information with the forms to create a unique, dynamic document for each destination.

eLink uses Intelligent Data Mapping technology to create each individual document. eLink selects the proper form, inserts data in the desired location and format, and determines when to include logos, signatures, and graphics.


eLink Features

Document Personalization:
One of the most important capabilities of email is the power to easily customize messages. Personalized content strengthens customer relationships and helps you market more successfully. eLink allows you to create a completely personalized and unique message for each recipient. Your personalized messages can be text, or include HTML formatting and graphics to increase reader involvement and response.

Scalability:
All eLink processing and delivery is performed by our servers. You will never need to worry about bottlenecks, outgrowing internal resources, or changes in technology. We specialize in high-volume document delivery so that you can specialize in your business.

Delivery Attempts:
Direct Delivery to the email host or relay server ensures that your email message reaches its destination. Our Retry Algorithm Choices allow you to decide how often to retry slow or inaccessible email domains and to maximize fax delivery success.

Delivery Scheduling:
Allows you to set up broadcasts in advance, so your broadcast can start automatically when you want it to.

Real-Time Delivery Status:
Real-time delivery status is available using software or through the web.

Document Batching:
Multiple fax documents to the same location can be batched for delivery over one connection.

Partial Delivery Resume:
If only a partial fax delivery is made, eLink will immediately attempt to resume the connection and continue the transmission with the last page delivered. There is no charge for partial fax deliveries.

Reporting Options:
The Detail Report lists final message status for every attempted destination.

The Exception Report lists only those destinations to which a message could not be successfully delivered.

The Interim Report summarizes the delivery progress of an "in process" job.

A unique Bounced Mail Utility collects all bounced email messages for 72 hours after the first bounce. These messages are compiled into a report that tells you why a mail server could not make the delivery.
